So What is the MSDS and it’s characteristics , risk index?
The full name of MSDS is Material Safety Data Sheet (Material Safety Data Sheet). It was internationally known as chemical safety information card. MSDS is used by chemical manufacturers and importers to clarify the physical and chemical characteristics of chemicals. Such as PH value, flash point, flammability , Reactivity, etc. And it also includes a possible harm to the user’s health (such as carcinogenic, teratogenic, etc.).
The shipping carrier checks the MSDS data of the goods, to understand the characteristics of the goods and minimize the risk index.
There are 16 indispensable basic data MSDS contains . Generally, only batteries and chemicals shall be needed to be checked the MSDS. In addition to identifying dangerous goods and non-dangerous goods, MSDS can also identify and confirm the special stowage of certain special goods.
