China Chemical Industry Purchasing And Logistics in May

China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing Federation’s Hazardous Chemicals Logistics Branch and Mobei (Shanghai) Biotechnology Co., Ltd was released the new index (CCPMI) . It was 52.7% in May 2019, down 1.42 percentage points from the previous month. From the perspective of 18 sub-indices, three indexes, three indexes have risen since last month, and their growth rates are all below 5%; four indexes have declined, and their declines are all below 5%; the other 11 indexes and It was flat last month.

 

In May, the CCPMI index fell slightly above the threshold,  China Chemical Industry Purchasing And Logistics relative said. Affected by the Sino-US trade war, the chemical product market experienced a slight ups and downs this month, and the chemical market activity was basically the same as last month.

 

1. The purchase volume index was 66.44%, an increase of 1.37 percentage points from the previous month. In terms of enterprise scale, the purchasing volume index of large and medium-sized enterprises is 60% and 57.81%, respectively, both higher than 50%.

 

2. The purchase price index was 58.22%, which was the same as last month. From the perspective of enterprise scale, the purchase price index of large enterprises is 50%; the purchase price index of SMEs is 52.34%, higher than 50%.
