What are the specific requirements when export dangerous gas goods?

 We know that the regular shipping of cylinder gas from domestic ports requires the provision of MSDS, transportation appraisal report, and the need for a pot inspection certificate for maritime declaration before it can be boarded. What is not provided is the report, and the report is not discussed much here. Anyway, it is found that it is severely punished. If the circumstances are serious, it may even go to jail. Dangerous goods transportation should choose a formal channel, and it is not recommended for the owner or the freighter to take risks. So what about air? First of all, not all cities in China can provide air transportation services for dangerous goods, only some relatively large cities, such as Beijing and Shanghai. In addition to the MSDS for gas air transportation, it is generally necessary to go to the relevant appraisal agency for identification reports, such as the identification of DGM in Beijing and the appraisal of the Shanghai Chemical Industry Institute.

 With the appraisal report, the UN package is packed, the hazard and UN logo are attached, and the refrigerant can be exported by air. However, many customers said that they have not yet applied for the inspection of the pot and the identification report. Because it is only the stage of sending samples, or there are many products, it is really difficult to check each product.

So is there any other way to export dangerous gas like refrigerant?

The answer is yes. Many “old foreign trades” may also know that it is from Hongkong.

Hongkong is a free trading port and an important shipping center in the world. There is no maritime declaration in Hongkong. The export of dangerous goods does not require the information such as the pot inspection certificate, the dangerous package certificate, the appraisal report, etc. Of course, the MSDS is still needed, because the MSDS is equivalent to the ID card of the goods, the relevant transportation information on the MSDS, Such as UN number, hazard level, etc. are important information.

Hongkong airport exports do not need pot inspection certificates, dangerous package certificates, identification reports and other information, is it safe to operate? In the actual operation of air transportation, UN packaging (UN carton) is required. Large steel cylinders need to be used for wooden boxes. At the same time, dangerous labels and UN logos are attached to make dangerous goods declaration. The bill of lading shows the dangerous level and the original name, which guarantees the dangerous goods requested when transportation.

 Some customers have doubts about this. Although Hongkong does not need a dangerous certificate as you said, but what do I do in China, from China to Hongkong? Very simple, because the section from Shenzhen to Hongkng is land transport. The pot inspection certificate and dangerous package certificate we mentioned earlier are for sea transportation and are used for maritime declaration. The identification report is required for air transportation. The dangerous goods land transportation does not require these inspection materials, so it is also from Shenzhen to Hongkong. I can’t use these anymore. Because of the one country, two systems, Hongkong has a separate customs. The goods have been exported from the domestic to Hongkong. The customs declaration, the customs declaration will be the customs declaration of land transport, and the taxpayer will not be affected.  The goods arrived in Hongkong and can be boarded from Hongkong.
